Problem:

Voscur had a struggling visual brand which felt dated and disconnected, not reflecting the amazing collaborative and pioneering work they were involved in.

Their website felt basic and uninspiring. They lacked the ability to make edits themselves, and sought a more empowering and creative approach.

Finally, their creative assets and outreach were struggling (such as impact reports and social media). Comms were inconsistent and at times, confusing.

Solution:

Since partnering with Voscur in 2023, we’ve helped them connect with new audiences, get more sign ups and improve their support to the VCSE sector.

☑️ Logo, creative assets and styles updated in line with recently updated brand strategy

☑️ Website redesigned with new visual look and feel, and improved user journey and experience. New functionality and team-access for maintenance.

☑️ Social media and communication strategy, creation of visual brand templates and training for the team to enhance their regular communications.

 

Voscur are doing amazing things in Bristol. They are the local support and development agency for Bristol’s Voluntary, Community & Social Enterprise sector.

Their work aims to improve the quality of life for Bristol communities – as a charity for charities. We were so excited to start working with them, redefining their brand strategy, visual identity, website and social media comms (among other creative assets).

This was a classic example of a charity doing incredible work, but being let down by their aging visual brand and inconsistent comms. So we set about to change that: breathing new life into an older brand.

We started with workshops (featuring the Lego Serious play method, of course) and research, before producing:

☑️ Logo and

☑️ Style guide

With this foundation in place, we worked closely with the team to produce a social media strategy, refining their tone of voice, training the team on working with the new brand, and feeling more confident in choosing material.

The website was a crucial element in the brand update. Our client told us that they were actually so embarassed by their original site, that they’d discourage potential visitors from seeing it!

Just a few months later, and now Voscur are proudly shouting about their new, functional, SEO-optimised and easily-maintainable website. Combining eye-catching visuals with technical development, the website now properly reflects the Voscur brand and has given them incredible tools to grow their impact and better serve the charity sector.

In terms of brand deployment, the vibrant brand personality is well reflected in their social media channels, and their stunning 2024 impact report.

Producing these assets is now faster and easier, resulting in a higher-quality product which connects better with their audience. It’s an all-round win, and only made possible through the hard and necessary work of updating the brand.
