Create a new brand identity for the Housing Festival, which is the new, national focus of the Bristol Housing Festival.
After conducting brand strategy research, produce creative assets including a website, illustrations, photo and video.

Context
In 2023, Bristol Housing Festival was launched with a mission to inspire, create and celebrate progress in housing…
Like many cities around the world, Bristol is facing a housing crisis, climate and ecological emergencies and a construction skills shortage. Our pilot festival - Bristol Housing Festival - has created a powerful context to help Bristol engage with systemic innovation. (Taken from www.housingfestival.org.uk)
The initial plan was a 5 year project. After an incredible journey and a lot of success, the decision was taken to rebrand with a national ambition.
How we did it
The BHF team contacted Bara Studio in order to explore rebranding to Housing Festival, using the original Bristol-brand elements in order to maintain a sense of continuity.
We began with research, exploring the Housing Festival mission, vision and purpose through a Lego® Serious Play® workshop.
With the brand strategy in place, we proceeded to the design of the core visual elements, including the logo, colour palette and style guide.
The logo animation was an immediate hit - tastefully including the original Bristol Housing Logo in the build up to the reveal for the new Housing Festival ‘H’.
The project would then go on to include the delivery of a totally bespoke website, professional headshots and plenty of creative assets to assist with their launch.
